Introducing Our Pilsner’s New Look

We brought PC Pils back, but with a brand new look and name. Check it out:

15 pack of Founders Pilsner

Introducing Pilsner!

Always brewing to taste and rarely to style, Pilsner is the culmination of our love of American hops and appreciation of easy-drinking styles. Where traditional Pilsners typically feature European Noble hops, our version celebrates some of our favorite American varieties: Chinook, Centennial, Cascade and Crystal. Crisp and bright, with notes of citrus, this Pilsner is refreshingly untraditional. 5.5% ABV.

The recipe is exactly the same as PC Pils. We wanted to give the beer a refresh as far as the name and packaging go – something that spoke better to the beer inside. Pilsner will be available in 15-pack cans and draft from June-September in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Indiana and New Jersey.

Will it be available in Missouri? It’s my summer “go to” brew

Nope, just the states listed. Maybe in 2020!

We used to get PC Pils here in Florida. Did you reduce the delivery footprint?

    • Founders Brewing Co.

We did, unfortunately, due to Green Zebra replacing it in the seasonal lineup (due to the gov’t shutdown and slow label approval times). We hope to get it back up in 2020!

Any reason why you’re not distributing to states that previously got pc pils ? This is terrible news , pc pils was my favorite seasonal .

Hey there! We had to replace PC Pils with Green Zebra as our seasonal because of slow label approval due to the gov’t shutdown. As a result, we have less volume. Not to worry, we hope to bring it back everywhere come 2020!

This should be a year round beer, it’s too good to be on a limited release.

Good pilsner. Love it for hot summer nights on the deck. We must be on last year’s supply here in southern Ohio right now. Still seeing the old PC Pils package. Had a good 15pk last week, but the one I bought yesterday has been all gushers when we open them, so far. Still tastes ok, but need to remember to open them over the sink… 🙁

Could you email us some more info on where you’re seeing that old PC Pils packaging? social@foundersbrewing.com. Thanks!
