All Day IPA Crab Cake Recipe
Who doesn’t love a good crab cake? Probably no one after they try this recipe for All Day IPA Crab Cakes by our very own Culinary Director, Justin Golinski. From the chef, “The citrus notes in the All Day IPA pair beautifully with the mild flavor of the crab. Couple that with the Matcha-Lime Mayo and you have an appetizer or even a quick dinner option ready to go. Cool? Cool.”
All Day IPA Crab Cakes
- 1 lb cooked, cleaned crab meat
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup All Day IPA
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
- Small handful of chopped green onion
- 2 teaspoons of crushed red pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2-4 tablespoons butter for sautéing
Heat 2-4 tablespoons butter on medium heat in sauté pan. Combine ingredients and form into 4-5 patties
Cook for approximately 3 1/2 minutes on each side. Serve with Matcha-Lime Mayo (below), lemon wedges, tartar sauce or remoulade.
- 1 cup mayo
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tablesooon matcha powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger
Combine all ingredients. Serve with All Day IPA Crab Cakes.
