Here at Founders we like to think of breakfast as more of a state of mind rather than a meal you enjoy in the morning. That’s why our good friend Alastair Watt helped create this delicious Breakfast in a glass cocktail that can be sipped on at anytime of day.
Don’t just take our word on it, try it yourself!
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Bacon Fat-Washed Whiskey
- 0.75 oz. Maple Syrup
- 0.75 oz. Orange Juice
- 0.5 oz. Lemon Juice
- 1 Whole Egg
- Breakfast Stout
- Orange Bitters
- Salt
- Bacon to garnish
Recipe:
- Add orange juice, lemon juice, maple syrup and bacon fat-washed whiskey to a shaker with ice.
- Shake well, then strain and discard ice.
- Add egg to the shaker and dry shake until frothy
- Double strain into glassware of your choice. (We suggest using a Collins glass.)
- Top with Breakfast Stout.
- Add a pinch of salt, a few drops of orange bitters and bacon garnish.
- Enjoy!
