Más Agave is fantastic on its own but it also makes a damn good mixer. We asked bartender extraordinaire, Nic, to whip up a few of his favorite Más Agave cocktails and he was kind enough to break down the recipes here. He even made a Más Agave margarita even though Más Agave is kind of a margarita to begin with. Nothing wrong with more tequila. Check them out below:
The Chuparosa
- Build in a shaker
- 1.5oz. Mezcal (preferbaly Vida – it’s nice and smokey)
- 1oz. Aperol
- 1oz. Velvet Falernum
- 1/2oz. Lemon
- 1/2oz. Lime
- Shake, dump (with ice) into a rocks glass (Add extra ice if needed)
- Top off with Más Agave
- Garnish with Lime Wheel
The Green Word
- Build in a shaker.
- 1oz. Gin (preferbaly Plymouth Gin, but a London Dry, like Beefeater will work too)
- 1oz. Green Chartreuse
- 1oz. Maraschino Liqueur
- Shake, strain into a coupe (martini glass)
- Top with Más Agave
- Garnish with Cherry or Lime Wheel
The Brewdriver
- Build in a shaker
- 2oz. Vodka
- 3/4oz. Aperol Aperitivo
- 1/4oz. Dry Curaçao
- 1oz. fresh-squeezed orange juice
- Shake, strain into Rocks Glass
- Top with Más Agave
- Orange Garnish
Founders Gin Fizz
- Build in a shaker
- 2oz. Gin
- 1/4oz. simple syrup
- 1/2oz. lemon
- Shake, strain, dump ice
- Add egg white
- Dry Shake for a good 2-3 minutes
- Double strain into Collins glass filled about ⅓ of the way with Mas Agave
Founders Margarita
- Build in a shaker
- 2oz. blanco tequila
- 3/4oz. Dry Curacao
- Bar spoon of simple syrup
- Shake, strain into rocks glass
- Top with Más Agave
- Garnish with lime wheel
