This week our Co-Founder and President, Dave Engbers, our Brewmaster, Jeremy and a few other folks from the brewery are up in Northern Michigan, where they’re meeting with hop farmers, checking out this year’s harvest and selecting the hops we’ll be brewing with.
Dave and Jeremy are talking with Mike Moran, from MI Local Hops about harvest season and the hops used in Harvest Ale, our wet-hopped ale that features 100% Michigan grown hops. The hops are picked, sent down to the brewery in Grand Rapids and used to brew Harvest Ale the same day.
