Barrel-Aged Blueberry Braggot

This isn’t your average fruit beer. Barrel-Aged Blueberry Braggot is a delightful marriage of honey, malt and blueberries. This classic, centuries old style is ramped up by spending time in bourbon barrels with a hefty dose of Michigan blueberries to really set things off!

Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout

A Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, what will they think of next? Our decadent Imperial Stout, with all its warm and roasted malt characteristics you love, was brewed with coffee and vanilla before going into a blend of cognac and bourbon barrels. The subtle notes of bourbon and oak swirl in the bottle, waiting to be sipped. A beer for those not satisfied with the ordinary.

Barrel-Aged Marvelroast

Brace yourself for an ever more marvelous drinking experience with Barrel-Aged Marvelroast! Initially brewed with coffee, vanilla, cocoa nibs and milk sugar, this imperial golden ale was introduced to bourbon barrels for one year to deepen the sweetness and iced-coffee characteristics you loved so much about the original.

Barrel-Aged Peanut Butter Stout

Like a peanut butter cup in a glass! Aged in bourbon barrels for two-years, Barrel-Aged Peanut Butter Stout’s chocolate malts, roasted barley and Golden Naked oats mingle with Nugget and Perle hops as semi-sweet chocolate and hints of roasted peanut team up to create a smooth, yet not overly sweet, drinking experience. No actual peanuts were harmed in the making of this beer!

Hazy IPA

This is usually the point where we’d hit you with a ‘haze’ pun but we thought we’d keep it fairly straightforward- just like our Hazy IPA. A bold array of hops lends juicy citrus and tropical notes to every sip while 2-row malt, oats and wheat combine to create a creamy mouthfeel with reduced bitterness. As far as hazy puns go, we’ll leave that up to you – we’ll stay focused on the beer.

Frootwood

We took a crisp, light-bodied cherry ale and hid it away in oak barrels that have held both bourbon and maple syrup. After a lengthy stint, it emerged a changed beer, blanketed in notes of warm vanilla and earthy sweetness. The wood proves itself the star of this beer, adding depth and taming the tart cherry while the maple imposes a velvety texture that lingers for not a moment too long.

Detroit Double IPA

Initially developed for our Detroit taproom, Detroit Double IPA raises the bar to what beer fans expect from this beloved hoppy style. Crystal and Magnum hops lend a mild bitterness while a citrusy sweet passionfruit aroma comes courtesy of the Mosaic and Simcoe hops. Those dank hop oils shine on top of a delicate malt backbone. Detroit Double IPA drinks smooth, crisp and satisfying.

Oktoberfest

Blink and you’ll think you’re in Bavaria. We went all in on tradition with our Oktoberfest, using imported German malts and hops with a beautiful lager yeast for the finish. Pours a gorgeous copper hue with a rich, malty and slightly sweet backbone. Our version is akin to the beer poured in the early days of Oktoberfest and, yes, it adheres to the Reinheitsgebot. Prost!

Red's Rye IPA

Serious hop bitterness, along with an unyielding grapefruit bouquet from the Amarillo dry hop, balances the malty richness of four varieties of imported Belgian caramel malts. Pale Joe

Mucho Lupu

Brewed in the spirit of juicy IPAs, Mucho Lupu features four kinds of American hops: Mosaic, Azacca, Simcoe and Amarillo. Dry hopped with traditional hop pellets along with cryo powder, an innovative hop product that separates lupulin from the hop flower, this IPA is incredibly flavorful and aromatic. Wheat and oats provide a smooth backdrop to carry all those wonderful hop characteristics.

Cerise

There are a few things that are quintessentially ‘Michigan’ and many would argue that cherries top that list. We brewed Cerise as a celebration of our home state’s official fruit, showcasing what Northern Michigan does best. Ruby red in color and brewed with 100% tart, Michigan cherries, Cerise is as close you’ll get to tasting the real thing without picking it off the tree.

Panther Cub

Developed after reflecting on youthful dalliances of yore, Panther Cub is a small porter aged in a combo of BLIS maple syrup bourbon barrels and regular bourbon barrels. This fierce cat has been aging in barrels for over two years with whole vanilla beans (just for fun). Tasty maple and vanilla notes plus surprisingly deep character make this rare special release one to look upon fondly.
