HALF TON BAND plays a blend of original music and obscure covers shaped into a sound
that’s entirely their own. Their influences wander through the world of three-chord, fouron-
the-floor, guitar-driven music—the kind that proves songs don’t need to be
complicated to feel alive.

Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, HTB has been on the local scene since 2001. After a brief
hiatus, the band returned in 2022 and has been performing at venues including the
Elevation Room at the Intersection, Founders Brewing Co., and the Legacy Park Ada
Amphitheater. They recently shared the stage with Brian Vander Ark (The Verve Pipe) and
Domestic Problems, continuing their run of lively, full house, crowd-warming shows across
West Michigan.
