A little while ago, we asked members of the Cadre to submit questions for our Barrel-Aging Maestro, Jason Heystek. As the camera rolled, Jason answered questions about the types of beer we age, what kind of barrels we use, what we plan to brew in the future and more.

A bit about Jason:
Technically, he’s the “VP of Planning, Packaging, Inventory and Logistics,” but we like to call him the Barrel-Aging Maestro. Oh, and given his rockstar status as member of the Founders employee band, the FBC All-Stars, his business cards also include “Lead Guitar.” Whatever you want to call him, Jason is a legend around the brewery and the brain behind our barrel-aging program.
