Open Mic Night is back, baby!

We’re changing it up a little and throwing this event in the beer garden from 6-8pm with your host and local celebrity, Jake Stilson. Sign ups will start at 5pm and are limited to 15 minute sets – please note because this is in the beer garden, we can only accommodate acoustic/simple set ups/smaller groups of 2-3. This is not a rain or shine event – if there is inclement weather, we will skip that week’s Open Mic Night. We’re excited to once again host Grand Rapids’ top music acts and performers at the taproom!

More about your host: Jake Stilson (aka Big Jake Bootstrap) is a singer-songwriter and frontman for Michigan-based and WYCE Jammy award winning country band, The Bootstrap Boys. He knows singing as well as he does sinnin’, both things he does plenty of. Jake has been living and working in the GR music scene for the past 20 years. His biggest dream is to “just do music” and that wish is coming a little more true every day.
