Celebrate the release of 2019 KBS with us on Saturday, March 9, 2019! We will have 2019 KBS on tap, as well as KBS 2018 & 2017, CBS 2018 & 2017, Blushing Monk, Panther Cub, Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, and more! Additionally, there will be KBS brownies and special grill offerings (more details to come).
Choose Better Friends crew will be spinning live DJ sets and there will be games out on the patio and in the Barrel Room, so come prepared to have a great time!

Choose Better Friends is a Detroit-based record label that aims to connect people who share a love for deep bass lines, late night boogie & moody grooves. Highlighting the diverse soundscape of Detroit’s dance music scene, the label features an eclectic array of artists and is co-run by four locals: Bale Defoe, Phil Minnick, Jessica Peacock and Ryan McCray.
This event is free and welcome to all ages before 9pm. 21+ only after 9pm.
Also, In honor of International Women’s Day, we will be accepting donations of socks, mittens, and hats at our Detroit Taproom throughout the month of March. All donated items will go to the Empowerment Plan: a Detroit based nonprofit organization focused on permanently elevating families from the generational cycle of homelessness. We hire single parents from local shelters and provide them with training and full-time employment as seamstresses so that they can earn a stable income, find secure housing, and regain their independence. The individuals we hire manufacture a coat designed to meet the needs of those in the homeless community. The durable EMPWR Coat can transform into a sleeping bag at night or an over- the-shoulder bag when not in use. Since 2012, we have provided employment to 50 homeless individuals—all of whom have now secured permanent housing for themselves and their families —and distributed over 25,000 coats to those in need across the world.
Note: KBS 2019 pick ups start on Friday, March 8 at 11am and go until Sunday, March 10 at 8pm by the Warehouse entrance in the parking lot area. After 8pm each night, ticket holders can pick up their KBS 2019 bottles at the Company Store until 11pm.
