In its 11th year, Founders Fest continues to marry the finest beer with the tastiest artists from around the country, and the world. Joe Russo’s Almost Dead is Scott Metzger, Tommy Hamilton, Dave Dreiwitz, Marco Benevento & Joe Russo. We’re a Grateful Dead cover band.
One of the worlds’ top afrobeat groups.
Raised amid the rich musical culture and history of the San Francisco Bay Area, Monophonics proudly carry the torch through the generations into today’s musi-cal landscape. Holding on to tradition, but by no means purists of any kind, they play their own brand of music known as “Psychedelic Soul.”

Elegant and raw chamber pop.
FBC All-Stars –
The FBC All-Stars are a musical collaboration of employees from Founders Brewing Co. in Grand Rapids, MI.
Desmond Jones –
West Michigan’s hardest working, meteorically rising jam band.

How much are tickets?
Advanced: $40 General Admission, $25 Mug Club Members
Day of show: $50 General Admission, $40 Mug Club Members (only available at the front gate if the event does not sell out in advance)
Admission includes (2) drink tickets on your wristband for your first pint (excluding specialty beers) or 2 N/A beverages

What if it rains?
Founders Fest is a rain or shine event.
What are the bands’ set times?
Desmond Jones: 3:00pm to 3:30pm
FBC All Stars: 3:45pm to 4:30pm
San Fermin: 4:45pm to 5:45pm
Monophonics: 6:15pm to 7:15pm
Antibalas: 7:45pm to 8:45pm
Joe Russo’s Almost Dead: 9:15pm to 11:15pm
What beers will we have on tap?
Just like in previous years, we will feature Founders Fest Wheat throughout the duration of. Of course, like previous fests, you can expect a good number of surprises from the specialty tent.
Will Founders Fest include Artist’s Row again?

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
21+ with a valid (as recognized by the MLCC) ID
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
As we are located in a downtown urban center, parking options around the festival are numerous. Please visit: http://downtowngr.org/get/parking for downtown parking details.
What can’t I bring into the event?
No outside food or beverage
No glass or growlers of any kind
Empty (non-glass) containers for water or sealed bottles of water are OK
No pets (licensed service dogs OK with proof)
No illegal substances
No bad attitudes
No chairs on city streets

What’s the refund policy?
All ticket sales are FINAL. No refunds
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
A printed tickets is the best option for clarity, but a copy of your ticket on your smartphone works as well. Please have the screen on your phone turned up to full brigthness.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
By use of this ticket, the ticket purchaser/holder (“Holder”) agrees that Founders Brewing Company shall have the unrestricted right and license to use the Holder’s image, likeness, name, voice, comments or other proprietary or public rights in any broadcast, telecast or photograph and/or video and/or audio sound recording taken in connection with the event or other transmission or reproduction in whole or in part of the event, for all purposes, without compensation.
