MUNGION

Since their inception in Spring of 2015, Mungion (pronounced mung-yin) is quickly becoming known for their undeniably explosive and charismatic live shows. The Chicago-based four-piece is rooted in their ambitious compositions and improvisational ability. Drawing inspiration from a wide array of musical styles, they create a raucous, yet jubilant sound all of their own.

Known for their whimsical songs and goofy stage antics, Mungion’s joyous presence is a natural extension of its members, making for live performances that are infectiously lighthearted and deeply sincere. However, underlying the band’s quirky nature is a tremendous amount of virtuosity across all of its members. Combined, this talent and playfulness emboldens the group to be fearless in the studio and on stage. Mungion is guaranteed to have you smiling ear to ear and leaving wanting more.

SAM WILLIAMS

“As the son of Hank Williams, Jr., Sam Williams inherited the gift of wondrous country lyricism and a vocal talent that his father believes is best in the family.” (CMT) With a striking tone and poetic approach to songwriting, Williams is poised to leave his own legacy on Country Music, unafraid to push his own creative limits and break through the self-inflicted limitations that threaten the genre as a whole. In the words of his late grandfather Hank, “to sing like a hillbilly, you had to have lived like a hillbilly. You had to have smelt a lot of mule manure.” Sam jokes, “I haven’t done that so why would I try.”

Inspired by “the new Nashville” with artists like Maren Morris, Margo Price, Tyler Childers, Ruston Kelly and more blurring genre lines, the CMT “Indie You Need To Know” feels it’s his time to share what he’s been working on to forge his own path, with a bit of grit and rebellion for good measure. Influenced by artists from Billie Eilish to Dolly Parton, his sister Holly Williams to Drake, it’s easy to see why so many have been keeping a close watch on him in anticipation of what’s to come.

WILDER MAKER

Urban pastorals unfold in the music of Gabriel Birnbaum, the multi-instrumentalist, singer and writer behind the songs of Brooklyn’s Wilder Maker. Wilder Maker’s songs keenly observe landscapes of desire and abandon, filled with colorful characters and street revelations, in a musical setting as boldly diverse as their NYC home base.

PATTY PERSHAYLA BAND

Described as, “peace, love, and a giant crowbar,” Patty PerShayla has a gritty, yet sweet singing voice, and has both explosive and tender moments in her performance. Patty grew up around live music and started writing songs as a teenager, beginning with parodies and songs about Harry Potter but eventually finding her identity as a songwriter. She is also known for her ukulele renditions of heavy metal songs. Although she appears in Michigan breweries as a solo act, Patty also has a backing band and performs with the Sandra Effert trio, as well as a Rush tribute side-project, Catch the Fish.

MAMA K of Mama K & the Kosmic Sway
Mama K and the Kosmic Sway was founded by Founders Brewing Company’s Brewmaster Jeremy Kosmicki (guitar) and his wife Jamie (vocals). The couple began writing heavy blues and soul-influenced rock songs and searching for the perfect musicians to connect with.

*There are no advance tickets for Harvest Party, just cover day-of only. Admission is $10 for the General Public, $8 for 2019 Mug Club Members. Re-entry is based upon capacity.
