Michiganders: The Baby Has Left the Crib

It’s true.

As we gear up for Stout Season, we’re also saying goodbye to a dear friend. The baby of Breakfast Stout is taking some time away from his crib after being booted from the label in our home state of Michigan. However, you’ll continue to see that familiar face in all other states within our distribution footprint – and soon!

So what to do when the law is laid down? We say have a little fun with it. The new Michigan label features a note from our small friend with instructions on how to reach him while he’s away. Just wait and see!

As for New Hampshire, we’re awaiting a decision from the powers that be. Stay tuned to Twitter for an update on which label will appear on shelves this September.

    Is there a release date for Michigan yet? The availability calendar says October, but the article and the app say September. Thanks!

      We do the best to reflect accurate dates on the availability calendar, but those can change from time to time. We try to ship as soon as the beer is ready to ensure freshness so sometimes it’s a bit ahead of schedule. You’ll start seeing it appear on shelves beginning in September. Cheers!

    I think the State is being silly, but we love the Breakfast Stout regardless of what’s on the label. A favorite beer in our house. Keep doing great things.

    Can’t wait for the return of Breakfast stout in central iowa. My favorite beer ever. Saw on untappd you have other breakfast stouts and really hope they come to the Desmoines area. Keep up the good work.
