Overlooking the brewing facilities, our taproom allows customers a look into where the beer magic happens. It’s a great testing ground for us, and on any particular day you will find numerous beers on draft available only here in our taproom. The unique offering of specialty beers, the laid back atmosphere, and thrice-weekly live music has helped to make our taproom a staple in the Grand Rapids community and a destination for travelers. Stop by whenever you can and experience it for yourself.

    A rich brown colored porter brewed with Pale Chocolate Malt and Munich Malt. This one is perfect for the cold-weather season with all the deep, rich flavors you expect from a robust porter.

    Displaying the classic banana and clove characteristics iconic to this Belgian Wit style, we added our own twist by aging the beer on orange peel and coriander to grant a light citrus finish.

    Low ABV and calorie count make this beer a perfect choice for those mindful drinkers who still want to enjoy a delicious ale. Light, refreshing and perfectly balanced.

  • Red’s Rye IPA (Draft) 6.6 %
    Serious hop bitterness, along with an unyielding grapefruit bouquet from the Amarillo dry hop, balances the malty richness of four varieties of imported Belgian caramel malts. Pours a spectacular crimson with a creamy tan head. A generous addition of rye malt accentuates a spicy, crisp finish.

    Brewed with some of our favorite American hops, and dry hopped with traditional hop pellets along with lupulin powder, Unraveled IPA is incredibly flavorful and aromatic.

    A wheat forward ale fermented with a yeast designed to enhance fruity esters reminiscent of Fruity Pebbles cereal. Brewed with experimental 7272 hops that impart berry/banana aroma.

  • **Detroit Double IPA 8.9 %
    A double IPA brewed for Detroit. Aromas of mango and pineapple in the nose accompanied by a piney bitterness.
  • *Eiskaffee 8.2 %
    The newest version of our Golden Stout! Ferris Guatemalan coffee imparts rich aromas of chocolate and cocoa. Vanilla beans and cocoa nibs compliment the coffee and lactose sugar lends a smooth, sweet, finish.
  • Frangelic Mountain Brown 9 %
    Initially released in 2012, this deliciously sweet and nutty coffee brown ale inspired us to continue pushing the coffee beer envelope.
  • *Barrel-Aged Get Bucked 6.5 %
    A lager brewed with buckwheat and aged in 1 part Abruana barrel and 2 parts virgin Hungarian Oak barrels, then flavored with vanilla and maple extract. Like a light French Toast Bastard.

    A strong golden ale brewed with Lemon Drop hops and pure lemon concentrate before aging for 6 months in bourbon barrels, it evokes the refreshing flavor of a Bourbon/lemonade cocktail sipper!
  • *Barrel-Aged Mr. Wednesday 10 %
    A strong ale fermented with Norwegian Kveik yeast at higher than normal temperatures to produce esters of papaya and passionfruit, then aged in Bourbon barrels.
  • Blushing Monk 9.2 %
    The epitome of our love of fruit beer, Blushing Monk is brewed with a ridiculous amount of raspberries and Belgian yeast.
  • Curmudgeon’s Better Half 12.7 %
    Our Old Ale (brewed with Molasses and Oak chips) tamed by the tender embrace of oak and sweet maple infused from a years' stay in Maple Syrup Bourbon Barrels. The result is deceptively smooth and utterly delicious!
  • *Devil Dancer - Mothership #11 12 %
    When you dance with the devil, the devil don’t change. You do. Massive in complexity, huge malt character balances the insane amount of alphas used to create it. The 11th installment in our Taproom only bottles series.

    Backwoods Bastard gets the 4-star breakfast treatment. Our bourbon barrel-aged Scotch Ale is introduced to maple syrup, cinnamon, and sweet vanilla for a decadent brunch-inspired sipper.Breakfast for dinner, anyone?
  • Mas Agave 10 %
    An imperial gose brewed with agave, lime and sea salt and then aged in tequila barrels for just the right amount of kick. Consider it a party in a bottle. Mas Agave!
  • Nitro Underground Mountain Brown 11.9 %
    Nitro Underground Mountain Brown is the harmony achieved when our imperial brown ale, Sumatra coffee, and a year aging in oak come together...and is then infused with Nitrogen for a wonderfully thick, creamy, pour!
  • *Orange Curacao Barrel-Aged MoMo IPA 8.8 %
    A Mosaic, Azacca, and Amarillo-hopped IPA aged in barrels used for Orange Curacoa, then Gin, then finished in already 20 year-aged bourbon. Citrus notes abound and meld wonderfully with the subtle gin and bourbon notes.

  • CBS 2018 11.6 %
    The Vintage 2018 version of our Imperial Chocolate Coffee Stout aged in Maple Syrup Bourbon Barrels.
  • *Nitro CBS 2019 11.3 %
    Rich maple syrup, roasted coffee and velvety chocolate meld together in what can only be described as a transcendental drinking experience while the addition of nitrogen imparts a soft, creamy mouthfeel.
  • KBS 2018 11.8 %
    The vintage, 2018 version of our famed Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Chocolate Coffee Stout. The Legend that put our Barrel-aging program on the map (contains lactose).
  • KBS Espresso 12 %
    KBS gets an extra oomph by getting aged on espresso beans after being removed from barrels, resulting in a snappy coffee twist on our classic barrel-aged beer. Who says you can't start your day with a barrel-aged stout?
