The Brewed for MI Series brings together our love for beer with our commitment to our home state of Michigan and the community organizations that we’re most passionate about. All beers released through this series will raise awareness for Michigan-based non-profits through our Big Pitcher program and will be available exclusively in Michigan in 6-pack cans and draft.

The Big Pitcher is our corporate giving platform designed to give back to the causes that mean the most to us. All causes we support fall under three categories: Social Justice, Environment and Arts & Culture and range from local, MI-based organizations to those that operate on a national-level. So, you can feel good knowing that the beer in your fridge tastes great and the people that made it are making the world a better place with your support.

There are a few things that are quintessentially ‘Michigan’ and many would argue that cherries top that list. We brewed Cerise as a celebration of our home state’s official fruit, showcasing what Northern Michigan does best. Ruby red in color and brewed with 100% tart, Michigan cherries, Cerise is as close you’ll get to tasting the real thing without picking it off the tree.

This release will raise awareness for Fair and Equal Michigan, a growing coalition of grassroots citizens, LGBTQ groups, business, political and philanthropic leaders that have joined together to help prohibit discrimination against the LGBTQ community.

Red’s Rye IPA

Serious hop bitterness, along with an unyielding grapefruit bouquet from the Amarillo dry hop, balances the malty richness of four varieties of imported Belgian caramel malts. Pours a spectacular crimson with a creamy tan head. A generous addition of rye malt accentuates a spicy, crisp finish.

This release aims to raise awareness for Michigan-based arts & culture-oriented non-profits such as:

  • UICA
  • LaughFest
  • …and many more
