Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I park?
We have a free lot on the West side of the facility, accessible from Finney. Otherwise, there is a variety of parking options available…from street parking to city/privately owned lots just blocks away.
How do I get to Founders?
We are located at 235 Grandville Avenue SW in Downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. (The zip code is 49503.) We are located within blocks of US131 and I196. We are also across the street from the central bus station (http://www.ridetherapid.org/ for routes/schedules/fares) and two blocks from the Amtrak station.
How much does it cost?
Entry is $10 for the general public and $8 for 2013 Mug Club Members. We recommend using cash for entry to speed access to the event. *Discounted event entry is one of the benefits of a Founders Mug Club Membership. Members will also receive $1 off all beers during Harvest Party.
What does my entry fee get me?
Your paid entry nets you a commemorative Harvest Party pint glass (while supplies last) as well as a complimentary pint of Harvest Ale OR any class 1 beer. It also allows you to experience the fabulous live music we have lined up, beginning at 5pm.
The Harvest Party pint glass is not only ‘cool-looking’ and collectible, but YOURS to take home. Oddly enough, we’ve found it inconvenient to utilize the commemorative pints on the day of the party (both for our staff and patrons). If you don’t mind, we’d be happy to serve you via a vessel other than the commemorative Harvest Pint.
How do I get my complimentary pint of Harvest Ale (or any class 1)?
After paying the cover charge, all entrants will receive their commemorative pint (while supplies last) AND a small ticket redeemable at any bar (Main, Brassworks, or Garden) for a pint of Harvest Ale OR any class 1 beer (ie Centennial IPA, All Day IPA, Dirty Bastard, etc.). The ticket is not valid for specialties, class 2s other than Harvest, or food or merchandise purposes.
Can I bring my kids?
Unfortunately, no. Harvest Party is absolutely a 21+ event.
What if I have to leave? Can I come back?
Re-entry is allowed, but is based upon capacity and level of intoxication. Re-entry is also up to the discretion of our security staff and management.
I’m hungry. What can I eat?
Our deli will be open from 11am to 11pm. Additionally, CJ will be serving up our famous Dirty Bastard brats hot off the grill (while supplies last). Bratwursts are available for $4 each, with or without Dirty Bastard kraut, at the south end of our front porch. Various condiments and accoutrements will be available.
