We hope that you will join us for limited tours of our production facility on Saturdays at 11:15am, 12:30pm and 2pm. We are humbled to have been voted the third highest rated brewery in the world in 2013, and we attribute these accolades to our team’s dedication to the craft of brewing and to our world class production facility. Prior to 2013, we only opened the doors to see the inner workings of our production facility for our wholesale and retail partners. Now, we are excited to share our facility with you.
Our education ambassador, Gabriel Rains, will guide you through both of our brewhouses—our original 30 barrel system and our 2011 addition, an 85 barrel Steinecker Combicube B to which we added another mash tun and kettle in April 2013; our cellar, with fermenters and bright tanks of various shapes and sizes; our on-site warehouse; and our packaging hall, which includes a KHS kegging line, a Krones bottling line, a new depalletizer and lowerator and a recently installed canning line. All of this equipment helps us produce enough beer to be the 30th largest craft brewery by sales volume in 2012—and we continue to grow. Gabriel will explain what is unique about our process and will answer any questions that you may have along the way.
Tours are $10 each and include a Founders logo pint glass. Each tour is limited to 12 people per tour and can last anywhere from 30-50 minutes, dependent on how much you want to know—so come armed with questions! All tours are nonrefundable. Please arrive on time as our tours will begin promptly at their specified start times. Tours are 21 and up. Closed toe shoes are required. Email us at tours [at] foundersbrewing [dot] com with any questions or concerns that you may have ahead of time. Also, please note that if a date is not listed as available in the drop down menu above, that means that it is either sold out or not available.
