POSITION: Northern Florida Sales Representative

DEPARTMENT: Sales
 
JOB SUMMARY:
Establish and maintain a professional sales relationship with key retailers within the assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports Founders Brewing Company Core Values and Purpose;
  • Maintains constant communication with the Market Manager and Regional Sales Director;
  • Works directly with the assigned Founders Brewing Company territory wholesaler and their sales staff to promote the sale of the brand;
  • Maintains consistent market visitation schedule between all assigned territories; work quarterly target account list and visitation schedule including chain and independent on and off premise accounts;
  • Develops quarterly target lists built from goals and objectives;
  • Must be able to analyze and develop sales opportunity from VIP software or other company provided sales/CRM software;
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with retail accounts;
  • Monitors beer inventory to maintain proper amounts based on sales trends, promotions, and seasonal changes; monitor product for freshness;
  • Conducts ongoing brand training;
  • Attains pre-determined sales and distribution goals;
  • Assists at all special events and festivals in the territory;
  • Performs administrative tasks as they are assigned (expense reports, monthly work calendar,  establish distribution targets, evaluate discount programs, conduct price surveys);
  • Assists in creating volume projections and marketing budgets; ensure compliance is maintained;
  • Maintains professional image and demeanor at all times;

QUALIFICATIONS OR SKILLS REQUIRED:
Successful candidate must live in the market for which Market Manager is responsible for, must have reliable car and be able to travel and have the ability to work a flexible schedule and ability work some week-ends.  Two years minimum experience working in the three tier distribution system either with a beer wholesaler or beer supplier is a must and must have strong knowledge of craft beer industry and its retail consumers.  Candidate must be knowledgeable of Founders Brewing Company brands and procedures, be draft beer knowledgeable, and have experience with sales data writing, reporting, and analysis as well as experience with sales/CRM software.

POSITION: Senior Financial Analyst

DEPARTMENT: Finance

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides expert financial advice, guidance and counsel supporting business objectives and decisions. Researches, evaluates and interprets financial data using advanced and emerging financial techniques and tools. Design and implementation of complex corporate/finance projects including preparing cost justification, proposals and risk assessments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Annual Financial Reporting: Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and maintaining internal control documentation, including narratives, flowcharts and risk matrixes; assessment of controls; recommending and verifying implementation of control gap remediation plans; and reporting conclusions regarding the effectiveness of the Company’s internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Leads, facilitates and monitors the financial segment of complex projects/and department initiatives. Acts as the primary liaison with assigned business partners to ensure successful achievement of objectives and goals. Conducts research activities to determine and communicate financial implications resulting from varied company initiatives.
  • Financial Reporting: Researches and interprets complex financial reporting and accounting questions. Consolidates monthly financial reporting and review costs and variances. Ensures necessary modifications are incorporated into the financial reporting process. Prepares complex account analysis and general ledger reconciliations including the tracking of fixed assets.  Manages and coordinates with external auditor consultants in preparation of annual financial audits.
  • Tax: Coordinates certain tax filings, payments and miscellaneous research projects. Responsible for the timely and accurate filing of federal, state and local tax returns. Participates in federal, state and local tax audits and prepares work papers for the Internal Revenue Service on tax audit issues. Consults on property tax management program and backup withholding.

QUALIFICATIONS

POSITION: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (full time) 

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance Department

SHIFT: Must be available all shifts, including week-ends

JOB SUMMARY
Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing the following duties: 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machines;
  • Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications;
  • Troubleshoots malfunctions;
  • Ability to work rotating, off, or weekend shifts, as scheduled to cover production needs and demands; schedule will be dictated by work load and company needs;
  • Scheduled times will be posted weekly; good attendance and timeliness is required for the company to stay productive;
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listens for problems; uses precision measuring, and tests instruments;
  • Removes defective parts by dismantling with hand and power tools;
  • Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts by using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments;
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, and straightedges;
  • Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitors compliance;
  • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipates needed equipment, parts, and supplies, and verifies receipt of parts;
  • Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results;
  • Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests;
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviews technical publications; establishes personal networks;
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs;
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations;
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

Good candidates must fit in with our enthusiastic and hardworking team environment and be a great communicator.  Must have hand tools, sockets and wrenches both metric and SAE Skills/Qualifications: equipment maintenance, technical understanding, electrical knowledge, technical zeal, must be able to deal with uncertainty, understand basic safety rules, know how to use power tools, have the ability to show attention to detail, must be flexible, possess troubleshooting skills, and must be  productive. POSITION: Packaging Machine Operator

SHIFT: Must be available 7 days per week – 1st/2nd/3rd shifts                      

DEPARTMENT: Packaging 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tends machines that perform one or more packaging functions such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, tying, packing, or wrapping containers by performing the following duties:

  • Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine;
  • Stops machine and reports malfunctions to Head or Lead Packing Machine Operator;
  • Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, setting guides, or clearing away damaged product or containers;
  • Inspects filled containers to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications;
  • Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices;
  • Unloads packaged products;
  • Replenishes packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels.
  • Mounts supplies on spindles or places supplies in hopper or other feeding devices.

QUALIFICATIONS OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

Good candidates must fit in with our enthusiastic team environment, be a great communicator, and possess a mechanical aptitude.  Candidates must be safety focused, love to clean, be able to lift up to 100 pounds, be able to twist and turn, be able to reach over your shoulders, and work in standing/walking position at a steady pace.  The packaging team members rotate through all of our packaging department functions including all areas of our bottling and keg filling lines.  Constant cleaning and frequent machine maintenance is required.  Availability to work days, nights, and weekends is necessary.

POSITION:  Deli Clerk

SHIFT:  Must be available all shifts, including week-ends

DEPARTMENT:  Deli / Taproom

JOB SUMMARY:
Prepares and cooks deli foods by performing the following duties.

  • Prep work.
  • Reads food order slip or receives verbal instructions as to food required by patron.
  • Prepares sandwiches.
  • Cooks deli food according to instructions.
  • Prepares salads and slices meats and cheese.
  • Cleans work area and food preparation equipment.
  • Serves meals to patrons over counter.
  • Customer Service.
  • Maintains safe work environment according to federal and state regulations.
  • Maintains working knowledge of deli recipes and prepared foods.
  • Miscellaneous cleaning and stocking.

QUALIFICATIONS OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

POSITION:  Part Time Dishwasher

DEPARTMENT:  Deli / Taproom

JOB SUMMARY:
Maintains kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:

  • Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or in dishwashing machine;
  • Washes pots, pans, and trays;
  • Sweeps and mops kitchen floors;
  • Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks;
  • Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers;
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas;
  • Performs miscellaneous kitchen duties as necessary.

POSITION:  Cellar Operator

SHIFT:  Must be available all shifts, including week-ends

DEPARTMENT:  Cellar Department

JOB SUMMARY:
Assists in the beer making process by performing the following duties:

  • Perform duties necessary to maintain a clean and sanitary fermentation cellar;
  • Follow established SOP’s toward accomplishing all needs associated in processing from receipt of wort from brewhaus through fermentation process to finished and ready to package beer;
  • Clean and maintain all cold side brewing equipment through packaging tank;
  • Maintain and improve overall sanitation and safety levels of brewery;
  • Monitor fermentation profiles, progress, and temperatures of vessels and glycol system;
  • Contribute to brewing process as directed in adding of various ingredients to beer;
  • Participate in all factors of wooden barrel brewing procedures;
  • Assist other departments when time allows.

QUALIFICATIONS OR SKILLS REQUIRED
