Join us at the Grand Rapids Public Museum on June 21 as we celebrate The Rides – a non-competitive family cycling event at twilight (8 p.m.) followed by a non-competitive cycling ride at midnight (12 a.m.).
The Twilight Ride is an opportunity for families with children 12 and under to participate in a educational, fitness ride (approximately 7 miles) in and around downtown Grand Rapids, stopping at various historical landmarks for information and scavenger hunt pieces.
The Midnight Ride is a non-competitive ride (approximately 13.3 miles) for individuals and families with children over 12, through the streets, trails and bridges in and around Grand Rapids.
Rides start and finish at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. Rules of the road apply; all participants must have a helmet and a light for the midnight ride. Both events will offer pre- and post- activities at the museum beginning at 6pm with Founders beer, music, picnic-style food and a photo booth.
